About TradeBanc

TradeBanc the first and only Internet-based transactional trade banking system enables barter transactions, trade finance and asset auctions between small, medium and large national and international companies on a global basis.

Currently a manual, labor intensive process for barter exchanges and corporate barter companies, further complicated by hundreds of different trade exchange currencies throughout the U.S. and worldwide, TradeBanc is capable of facilitating the processing of tens of thousands of trade transactions daily utilizing E3, a Universal Trade Currency. TradeBanc expands the scope of trade availability's as Trade Partners can now trade with the participants of any member of any TradeBanc Affiliate Barter System, Affiliate Exchange or Affiliate Corporate Barter Company throughout the world.

By utilizing advanced transaction technology, TradeBanc simplifies trading outside of your Trade Exchange and eliminates the barrier of acceptance of the many different trade currencies. You pay for your trade purchases on TradeBanc with the trade dollars from your Affiliate Barter Exchange account. The seller receives payment for the sale in the trade currency of their participating Trade Exchange through TradeBanc's trade currency conversion processes.

TradeBanc gives you the opportunity to participate in an online auction... Administrate your own auction and sell your products, excess capacity and production to the highest bidder. Payments are credited to your Affiliate Barter Exchange trade account upon electronic confirmation of shipment.

Expand the scope of your market to find new buyers for your products and services on Shop TradeBanc. This e-commerce online mall allows you to maintain your own "store" to sell your products to trade buyers throughout the world. Use your new found trade dollars from these sales to purchase other products or services available on TradeBanc.

TradeBanc has been online since July 15, 1999 and was developed by Bruce Kamm, whose New York Exchange is one of the most successful trade exchanges in the country. He is adding other trade brokers daily including CRPG Trade, TradeBanc's first Corporate Exchange.

CRPG Trade

Only Barter Exchanges and Corporate Barter companies can participate as an affiliate on TradeBanc, no individual company may trade. This why we formed TradeBanc's first Corporate Exchange, CRPG Trade.

As with all Barter Exchanges, the standard charge for transactions is 10%. This includes the TradeBanc transaction fee. As we are a Corporate Exchange, the fee may be negotiable depending on the nature of the transaction.

As an introduction to TradeBanc, for members of CRPG there is no cost to open an account and start trading. To open an account, contact CRPG Trade at info@crpg.org , fax to 312 609-6511, call 312 609-6500 x 251 or use this feedback form.

Using TradeBanc

An major portion of TradeBanc, Vbarter, the backend software that allows  brokers such as CRPG Trade to automatically tract client transactions is not yet available. Until it is available (it is due October 15), we will manually keep tract of all transactions and enter them into Vbarter. This does not mean trades cannot occur but they will only be available during normal business hours. We do not expect this situation to last long.

To contact CRPG Trade, email info@crpg.org , fax to 312 609-6511, call 312 609-6500 x 251 or use this feedback form.

Frequently Asked Questions

For months, CRPG has linked to demo sites from the ITEX Corporation, now TradeBanc. Why the change?

ITEX Corporation was an initial CRPG partner. In the past few months there has been excitement in the industry causing world-wide inititives with e.Barter/e.Trade. TradeBanc allows e.Barter/e.Trade between global exchanges. Many ITEX Brokers are a part of TradeBanc and  ITEX trade dollars are accepted. The same is true for many other trade exchanges.

Are all items for trade listed in TradeBanc?

Traditionally, most brokers try to sell items without listing them on the internet (as e.Barter/e.Trade grows, this will change). To gain access to items not listed, we will provide a trade consultant.

CRPG provides basic services associated with TradeBanc and, through a trade consultant, access can be made to the "non-internet" branches of trade brokers. Many brokers have certain areas of expertise such as travel, media or excess inventory. Contact CRPG Trade for more information.

If TradeBanc is such an automated system, why must transactions done manually through CRPG Trade?

Part of TradeBanc's software is Vbarter. This automatically downloads transactions to CRPG Trade and will be available in mid-October. Until that time we must manually keep tract of client transactions. When this software is available, online trading can be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is the status of TradeBanc?

TradeBanc has been online since July 15, 1999 and has signed up around 25 brokers. Many brokers are not listing all their items for a variety of reasons including waiting for the Vbarter software. Rapidly, TradeBanc will rapidly become the major e.Barter/e.Trade marketplace.
